Netflix confirms the shoot has wrapped

Netflix said filming had finished on the eight-episode series, according to a report on the streamer’s Tudum news site. The shoot took place in Atlanta, a city that has also hosted “Stranger Things.”

McKenna Grace stars as Daphne Blake, alongside Tanner Hagen as Shaggy Rogers, Abby Ryder Fortson as Velma Dinkley and Maxwell Jenkins as Fred Jones. Paul Walter Hauser, André Benjamin and Cathy Moriarty round out the supporting cast.

Netflix first teased the project back in June, releasing an early look at the live-action series months before the wrap announcement.

A British hand behind the camera

For UK readers, the most direct local tie is behind the scenes. Toby Haynes, the British director known for “Sherlock,” “Black Mirror” and “Andor,” is an executive producer on the series and directed the premiere episode.
