The Good Omens Finale Trailer is Here!

Prime Video has officially dropped the trailer for the Good Omens series finale. Now, Michael Sheen and David Tennant are back — and the end times are officially on the schedule.

Good Omens

The 90-minute finale episode lands on Prime Video on May 13. Picking up after the Season 2 cliffhanger, Aziraphale has accepted Heaven’s offer and returned as the newly appointed Supreme Archangel, tasked with overseeing the Second Coming — a responsibility that immediately starts causing problems with the other angels. Meanwhile, a heartbroken Crowley finds himself at rock bottom, wandering the streets of Soho.

So, yes. They are apart. Again. And the world may end because of it.

The road to this finale has been anything but smooth. Production was suspended in September 2024 after multiple women accused co-creator Neil Gaiman of sexual assault. Gaiman offered to step back, and by October 2024, the series was reduced from a six-episode order to a single 90-minute episode. Gaiman has denied the allegations, according to Deadline.

Although Gaiman is credited with writing the finale, he no longer serves as showrunner or executive producer. Rachel Talalay directs, with Rob Wilkins of Narrativia — representing Pratchett’s estate — and BBC Studios Comedy’s Chief Creative Officer Josh Cole serving as executive producers, per Deadline.

The series finale will adapt the storyline Gaiman and the late Terry Pratchett had planned for a Good Omens sequel novel, as confirmed by Nerdist. Alas, we only get 90 minutes of it. But given what’s at stake — an angel, a demon, and about 6,000 years of complicated feelings — that might be enough.

We’ll keep you posted on updates about Good Omens as the project develops.
