Rocky and Creed trilogies land on Netflix UK from 1 June 2026
Netflix is adding five Rocky films and the complete Creed trilogy at once — giving subscribers the full sweep of Stallone’s billion-dollar boxing saga for the first time on one platform.
- Rocky, Rocky III, Rocky IV, Rocky V and Rocky Balboa arrive on Netflix on 1 June 2026.
- The full Creed trilogy (Creed, Creed II, Creed III) also hits the platform on the same date — for the first time ever on Netflix.
- The additions come as franchise interest intensifies ahead of reported new live-action projects in the Rocky universe.
- UK Netflix subscribers can stream everything included in the standard plan (from £4.99/month with ads).
Netflix has confirmed that five entries from Sylvester Stallone‘s Rocky franchise — Rocky, Rocky III, Rocky IV, Rocky V and Rocky Balboa — will be available to stream from 1 June 2026, according to Collider. The complete Creed trilogy joins them on the same day.
It marks the first time subscribers can watch both sagas back-to-back on a single streaming service — a clean eight-film run from Stallone’s 1976 Oscar-winning debut through to Michael B. Jordan‘s 2023 directorial bow in Creed III.

What’s included — and what’s missing
Five of the original six Rocky films are confirmed. Notably absent is Rocky II, which is not among the titles listed in Netflix’s June additions, according to the Collider report.

Why the Creed trilogy matters
The Creed films — directed respectively by Ryan Coogler, Steven Caple Jr., and Jordan himself — are credited with reviving the franchise for a new generation. Collider describes the trilogy as one of the best modern film series, noting that Coogler and Jordan brought genuine emotional depth to a saga that could have coasted on nostalgia.
Creed III earned more than $271 million worldwide at the box office, according to Box Office Mojo, making it the highest-grossing entry in the Creed series — and it did so without Stallone appearing on screen at all.
“Decades after Rocky took the world by storm, Creed launched and began one of the best movie trilogies of the modern era.”
— Collider
Why now? Franchise interest is rising
The timing is significant. Stallone has been vocal about his ongoing involvement in the Rocky universe, and new live-action projects have been reported — though no formal announcements have been made as of publication.
Netflix’s decision to land both catalogues on the same day looks like a strategic move: building a bingeable event around an IP that still carries massive brand recognition globally. The original Rocky remains one of the few films to win Best Picture at the Academy Awards while also being a legitimate commercial blockbuster.

UK streaming details
Available from: 1 June 2026
Platform: Netflix UK — all subscription tiers, including Standard with Ads (from £4.99/month)
BBFC ratings: Rocky is rated PG; later entries and Creed carry 15 certificates for sports violence and strong language
UK talent angle: Carl Weathers, who played Apollo Creed and appeared in Creed II, drew widespread tributes from UK fans following his passing in February 2024 — making this binge especially resonant for British audiences
Where to watch and what to watch first
If you are coming to the saga fresh, the original Rocky remains the obvious starting point — a 128-minute underdog story that holds up remarkably well across its 50-year anniversary. From there, Rocky IV and Creed are the consensus picks for rewatchability.
Veteran fans who want to assess how the franchise has evolved may prefer to jump straight to Creed III, which stands on its own as a character study with considerably more formal ambition than its predecessors.
