The process escalated quickly from there. Guests had to complete multi-factor authentication and sign a nondisclosure agreement via DocuSign before receiving the digital invitation itself, according to NBC New York.

Every invitation was also individually watermarked with a guest’s name, a measure designed to trace any leak back to its source, according to TMZ.

The venue stayed secret until 4 a.m.

Guests learned the wedding date and city in stages, Thomas said, with the exact venue withheld the longest. Madison Square Garden wasn’t confirmed until roughly 4 a.m. on July 3, according to NBC New York.

The reveal came weeks after Kelce’s sister-in-law, Kylie Kelce, had publicly denied wedding rumours as speculation intensified in April.
