Paramount+ Drops All 10 Episodes of the Among Us Animated Series in a Surprise Premiere

Paramount+ just dropped all ten episodes of Among Us without warning, and yes, that’s exactly as chaotic as it sounds. The surprise premiere was announced at Summer Game Fest on June 5 in Los Angeles — because apparently the best way to launch a show is to just… release the whole thing.

Among Us follows a group of eccentric, monochromatic Crewmates aboard a junk-hauling spaceship crossing the galaxy, who have to root out an Impostor before it picks them off one by one. So, basically the game, but animated and with a lot more voice talent than your average Friday lobby.

The series was created by Owen Dennis (Infinity Train) and produced by CBS Studios and Innersloth, with Titmouse handling animation. The voice cast includes Yvette Nicole Brown as “Orange,” Kimiko Glenn as “Cyan,” Liv Hewson as “Black,” Ashley Johnson as “Purple,” Wayne Knight as “Lime,” Phil LaMarr as “Brown,” Randall Park as “Red,” Dan Stevens as “Blue,” Debra Wilson as “Yellow” and “Computer,” Elijah Wood as “Green,” and Patton Oswalt as “White.” That is a genuinely stacked roster for a show about color-coded beans.

The Among Us game hit nearly 500 million monthly active users at its peak in Q4 2020, generated over 4 billion YouTube views, and ranked #1 on Google Play in 66 countries in October 2020 alone. The IP has been sitting on this kind of adaptation potential for years. Alas, it took us until 2026 to get here — but at least they didn’t drip it out weekly.

All ten episodes are now streaming exclusively on Paramount+. UK subscribers can catch the full season right now on Paramount+ UK, which runs at £6.99/month. No waiting. No release schedule. Just straight to the animated series equivalent of being ejected into the void. According to Deadline, Brown and Hewson made the announcement live at Summer Game Fest, which is a solid way to cause a scene.

For fans who grew up with the gaming adaptation boom, this one lands with some serious nostalgia weight. We’ll keep you posted on updates about Among Us as the project develops.
