Life Is Strange TV Series Adds Four New Cast Members for Prime Video
Amazon MGM Studios recently announced its leads for the Life Is Strange Prime Video adaptation. Now, the supporting cast is filling in — and they brought some familiar faces along with them.
Tom Cullen, Leisha Hailey, Raúl Castillo, and Owen Teague are all joining the series. Per Variety, they join previously announced leads Tatum Grace Hopkins and Maisy Stella (Nashville), who are set to play Max Caulfield and Chloe Price, respectively.
Life Is Strange
Cullen is set to play Mark Jefferson, Max’s photography teacher. Hailey will play Joyce Price, Chloe’s mother. Castillo steps in as David Madsen, Chloe’s stepfather. Teague rounds out the group as Frank Bowers, a local drug dealer.
Game fans will know exactly what that casting means for the story. No spoilers here, but Jefferson’s presence alone should have certain players sweating.

Cullen’s other TV credits include Downton Abbey, Black Mirror, and Trespasses. UK audiences will also see him soon as Ser Luthor Largent in House of the Dragon Season 3, which returns on 21 June on HBO — making him one of the more recognizable British talents coming aboard. Hailey is best known for The L Word and its follow-up The L Word: Generation Q, while Castillo previously starred in Looking at HBO. Teague’s credits include Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes and both IT films.
The official logline has Max as a photography student who discovers she can rewind time while saving the life of her childhood best friend Chloe. Together, they investigate the mysterious disappearance of a fellow student and uncover a dark side to their town that forces them toward an impossible life-or-death choice.
The series is written and showrun by Charlie Covell, the mind behind The End of the F***ing World. The show will stream exclusively on Prime Video in over 240 territories worldwide — including the UK — though no release date has been set at this time.
We’ll keep you posted on updates about Life Is Strange as the project develops.
