A deal struck behind closed doors
According to Page Six, the former couple entered into an informal temporary settlement on a Monday, with the Collin County judge overseeing the case signing it into effect two days later — just 24 hours before they were due to face each other in court.

According to TMZ Sports, sources close to both parties say talks had remained peaceful and productive throughout, with both sides describing themselves as “pretty happy” with how events had unfolded since the split.
What caused the split — cheating allegations and burner accounts
The breakdown of Prescott and Ramos’ relationship became public in early March 2026. Guests for their 250-person Italian ceremony received an email — obtained by TMZ — informing them the wedding had been cancelled, signed by both Prescott and Ramos.

Prescott and Ramos began dating in autumn 2023. He proposed in October 2024 on a golf course, and the couple went on to have two daughters: two-year-old Margaret Jane, known as MJ, and 11-month-old Aurora Dakota.
In an earlier filing to the Collin County court, obtained by TMZ, Prescott formally requested that he and Ramos be appointed “joint managing conservators” of their daughters — language indicating neither parent would hold sole authority over major decisions for the children.
Under the terms referenced in reporting by Sports Illustrated, neither parent would be permitted to remove the girls from Texas without the written consent of the other.
