Grand Theft Auto VI launches Thursday, November 19, on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S after two delays. Rockstar first moved the game from its 2025 target to May 26, 2026, according to a Rockstar Games Newswire post. The studio then reset the date in another Rockstar Games Newswire post.
Rockstar’s parent company, Take-Two Interactive, reaffirmed the date on August 7. Chief executive Strauss Zelnick said in a shareholder letter that the company is keeping its full-year net bookings outlook of $8 billion to $8.2 billion, according to Variety.
Digital pre-orders can begin pre-loading on November 12, according to GTAVice.net. Every pre-order or purchase before November 20 includes the Vintage Vice City Pack, Rockstar said in its Rockstar Games Newswire announcement. The company describes the game as a single-player experience.

GTA 6 soundtrack: 34 tracks and six singles out now
Rockstar announced Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album on September 17, made in partnership with Atlantic Records. The collection has 34 original tracks and launches with the game, according to the Rockstar Games Newswire. Limited-edition vinyl and CD sets are also open for pre-order.
Six singles are streaming now, according to Consequence. They include rapper Travis Scott‘s “RHYNO,” produced by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo of Daft Punk, and Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards’ “Bright Lights, Big City.”

UK players will pay £69.99 for the Standard Edition and £89.99 for the Ultimate Edition, according to the PlayStation Store UK listing. TechRadar reported the same prices when UK pre-orders opened in June.
