Newly-single Sarah Jane Ramos flaunts gym gains and weight loss after Dak Prescott split

Sarah Jane Ramos, the 32-year-old ex-fiancée of Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, has posted a series of gym selfies on Instagram — accompanied by empowering captions about “growth” — after the couple called off their planned wedding in Lake Como, Italy, in early March 2026.

The gym comeback making headlines

Ramos took to her Instagram Stories with a gym selfie and the caption “Growth in all forms,” accompanied by a flexed bicep emoji and prayer hands. She was photographed in a casual black sweatshirt over green leggings alongside a friend.

In a more recent Instagram story, Ramos posted a selfie in an all-white outfit while seated on exercise equipment, captioning the image: “Today’s agenda: Exhaust the glutes.”

She later shared a further gym picture, this time wearing an all-red outfit, as she continued to document her fitness journey on social media in the weeks following the break-up.

How the relationship ended

Ramos and Prescott had been planning a destination wedding at Lake Como, Italy, before they cancelled the ceremony after their joint bachelor and bachelorette parties in the Bahamas.

A representative for Ramos told People magazine on 9 March: “There wasn’t any rockiness in the lead up, and there was no big argument or blow up. It was a mutual decision.”

The couple sent a joint email to approximately 250 invited guests informing them of the cancellation. Prescott and Ramos are now focused on co-parenting their two daughters — two-year-old Margaret Jane “MJ” and 11-month-old Aurora Dakota.

Custody arrangements confirmed in court

Prescott referenced the split in court documents obtained by Us Weekly, formally acknowledging the relationship is over as the pair shift to co-parenting. He specifically requested that both he and Ramos be named “joint managing conservators” of their children.

The petition was filed in Texas on 17 March 2026. The documents note that “the parents of the children are separated” and that joint managing conservatorship would be in the children’s best interests.

According to TMZ Sports, both sides have since agreed to handle custody talks amicably and outside of court, with Ramos’ attorney Raymond Rafool confirming: “This is what we wanted all along.”

Prescott’s coach addresses the fallout

Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer told reporters on 30 March: “Dak and I have had a ton of conversations. He’s in a really good spot. Obviously, what he’s dealing with is incredibly tough. But if anyone can handle it, he can.”

Prescott himself has not issued a public statement in response to the split.

Ramos, born 17 November 1993 in Tampa, Florida, is a wine and spirits specialist and the founder of SJ Designs. She holds a degree in criminalistics from Florida State University and has worked across the hospitality sector, including a role as on-premise area manager for Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits.

Prescott and Ramos had been together since 2023. Their first daughter was born in February 2024, and they got engaged in October 2024 before welcoming a second daughter in May 2025.
