Hellraiser’s Pinhead haunts Universal theme parks this Halloween
Universal Studios has confirmed the first-ever Hellraiser haunted house for Halloween Horror Nights 2026, bringing Pinhead and the Cenobites to Orlando and Hollywood from August 28, with Liverpool-born Doug Bradley voicing the role.
TL;DR
- A Hellraiser haunted house debuts at Halloween Horror Nights, opening in Orlando on August 28 and in Hollywood on September 3.
- The house draws on the first three films: Hellraiser, Hellbound: Hellraiser II and Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth.
- Liverpool-born actor Doug Bradley returns to voice Pinhead at both locations.
- Limited-edition merchandise, including a Pinhead acrylic figure, launched July 1.

Pinhead gets his first official Halloween Horror Nights house
For nearly four decades, Pinhead has terrorised cinema screens. Now he is stepping into a theme park for the first time. According to a press release from Universal Orlando Resort, this marks the franchise’s first officially licensed Halloween Horror Nights haunted house.
The house draws directly from Clive Barker‘s original trilogy: Hellraiser (1987), Hellbound: Hellraiser II (1988) and Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth (1992). Guests will pass through the Lament Configuration puzzle box before facing the Cenobites in The Labyrinth, officials said.
What guests will experience inside the house
The walkthrough recreates specific film locations rather than a generic Halloween maze. Guests move from Frank Cotton’s attic to the Channard Institute before the final confrontation with Pinhead.
It’s a more atmospheric, lore-driven approach than some of this year’s other houses, which include original concepts such as Cybergoria and Invasion: Alien Abduction, alongside licensed properties like Sinners and Stranger Things 5.

Horror fans who enjoyed how practical creature work shaped the genre’s classics may also want to catch the new documentary on Stan Winston’s legacy, which traces similar ground on monster design.
Doug Bradley returns to voice Pinhead
Bradley, who originated Pinhead on screen in 1987, will lend his voice to the character for both the Orlando and Hollywood houses, according to Universal. He was born in Liverpool, England, in 1954 and has played the role across eight Hellraiser films.
Bradley’s long-standing friendship with Barker, a fellow Liverpudlian, dates back to their school days, and the pair have collaborated on the character ever since. His involvement gives the attraction a UK talent angle that longtime fans of the British horror icon will recognise immediately.
Dates, tickets and merchandise
Halloween Horror Nights runs on select nights at Universal Orlando Resort from August 28 through November 1, and at Universal Studios Hollywood from September 3 through November 1, according to Universal’s press release. Tickets are already on sale.
Limited-release merchandise, including a Hellraiser T-shirt and a Pinhead acrylic figure, launched July 1 at Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood, and via shopUniversal.com, according to Orlando Weekly.
For fans who like their horror icons crossing over into live events, this year’s HHN lineup also features Art the Clown, whose own franchise has built a similarly devoted following.
