The Gentlemen Season 2 Is Coming to Netflix This Fall

Guy Ritchie‘s slick crime saga The Gentlemen is heading back to Netflix later this year. The show has already crept back into the streamer’s global top 10 charts ahead of the new season, which is a solid sign that fans haven’t forgotten about the English countryside’s most stylishly dangerous cannabis empire.

According to Collider, Theo James confirmed the sophomore season in a recent interview with What’s On Netflix, stating that new episodes will arrive “in the Fall.” Netflix has yet to lock in a specific date, but filming wrapped last year, so the gears are turning.

The Gentlemen

The series is a spin-off of Ritchie’s 2019 film of the same name, which earned over $115 million at the box office on a $22 million budget. The TV version written and directed by Ritchie drops Eddie Horniman (James) into the middle of a thriving underground drugs operation buried inside his recently inherited English estate. Things go sideways fast, as they tend to do. The ensemble also includes Kaya Scodelario (Crawl) as Susie Glass, Daniel Ings (A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms) as Eddie’s chaotic brother Freddy, and Giancarlo Esposito in a key role.

Season 1 landed in March 2024 and performed exceptionally well for Netflix globally including in the UK, where the show’s very English sensibility and homegrown talent made it a particular hit. UK subscribers can catch the full first season on Netflix now ahead of the fall return.

No official release date or episode count for Season 2 has been confirmed yet. We’ll keep you posted on updates about The Gentlemen as the project develops.
