Blowup Doll Horror Movie “Blowie” Drops Its Official Trailer Ahead of May Release
So, horror has officially run out of things to leave alone and we mean that in the best possible way. Dark Star Pictures has dropped the official trailer for Blowie, a queer slasher described as a “sexy, bloody slasher” starring real-life porn stars, hitting Digital and On Demand on May 26.

The film follows a group of sex workers who rent a mansion in the middle of nowhere to shoot OnlyFans content. After a tragic accident, they are stalked by Blowie, the doll-faced killer. Think less inflatable novelty, more towering nightmare fuel with a body count.
Bishop Black, Gabriel Cross, Kayden Gray, Leander, Clark Lewis, and Kali Sudhra lead the cast, all real-life adult content creators making their slasher debut. The film is co-written and co-directed by altSHIFT, Ed Aldridge, and Sam Lidbetter.
Rather than playing the setup straight, Blowie leans into exaggerated practical gore, sharp visual comedy, and knowingly campy horror beats. It sits comfortably alongside the current wave of slasher-satire — not unlike Run, which recently brought its own genre-aware chaos to screens, or Evil Dead: Burn on the bloodier end of the spectrum.
For UK horror fans, no British theatrical or streaming date has been confirmed yet — though Dark Star Pictures titles have historically landed on Arrow and Shudder UK within weeks of their US VOD window.
