Doom’s complexity, and what comes next
Feige has said Doom required an actor capable of carrying the character’s many sides. According to The Phrase Maker, he described Doom on stage as “a scientist… a technologist… a sorcerer and a ruler.”
The studio is positioning Doom as a central figure through Avengers: Secret Wars in December 2027, after which Feige has confirmed the X-Men will formally enter the MCU, according to Inven Global.
