Disney+ lists eight projects to watch before VisionQuest
Disney+ has listed eight Marvel projects to watch before VisionQuest, the Paul Bettany-led spinoff that premieres on the streamer on 14 October 2026, to follow Vision’s story.
TL;DR
- VisionQuest premieres on Disney+ on 14 October 2026.
- The recommended list runs from Iron Man to Agatha All Along.
- WandaVision and Agatha All Along are the most important homework, according to TheWrap.
- UK subscribers can watch from £5.99 a month with ads.
Why this watchlist matters now
VisionQuest arrives just before Avengers: Doomsday. Screencrush called it the last Marvel title to watch before that film.
The series picks up the story of White Vision, left in limbo after WandaVision. T3 reported that the first trailer arrived as part of D23.
Marvel has also lined up the Doomsday trailer as the next big step in its timeline.
The eight Moives to watch before VisionQuest
- Iron Man. This is where the MCU begins. It also introduces J.A.R.V.I.S., one of the AI voices Vision consults in the series, according to Magazine HD.
- Avengers: Age of Ultron. The film introduces Ultron, played by James Spader, and F.R.I.D.A.Y., according to TheWrap. Its events are explicitly referenced throughout the series.
- Avengers: Civil War. The film deepens the bond between Wanda and Vision, which the new series builds on.
- Avengers: Infinity War. The film helps set up the Wanda and Vision love story through glimpses of memories, according to TheWrap. The outlet said there is some leeway on this one.
- Avengers: Endgame. The film closes out the Infinity Saga that preceded Vision’s current limbo.
- Spider-Man: Far From Home. TheWrap treats it as a lighter pick, with some leeway for viewers who skip it.
- WandaVision. TheWrap called Marvel’s first Disney+ series key to the plot. Without it, viewers will be as confused as Tommy is.
- Agatha All Along. Kinocheck described VisionQuest as a spinoff of WandaVision. TheWrap said Agatha All Along is directly responsible for Tommy’s existence.
What it costs to watch in the UK
UK viewers can stream every title on the list on Disney+. Elizabeth Olsen led WandaVision, which Kinocheck said centred on her character Wanda Maximoff.
